This year’s Annual Meeting: Focus on Skin Cancer will be a one-day virtual event. Lecture topics have been specially selected for their relevance in helping members to prepare for the American Board of Dermatology’s upcoming Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (MDS) sub-certification examination. You may register for this course alone or in conjunction with the MDS Exam Preparation Course the following day.

The MDS Exam Preparation Course will feature numerous questions of the type that are likely to be included on the sub-certification examination. Faculty will present questions from seven distinct areas of study: Diagnosis & Management of Melanoma and Melanoma In-Situ; Diagnosis & Treatment of Keratinocyte and Other Non-Melanoma Skin Cancers; Coding & Regulatory Compliance; Pathology: Normal, Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma; Pathology: Immunochemistry, Unusual Tumors and Artifacts; Pre-, Peri- and Post-Operative Care; and Competency in Obtaining and Processing Mohs Specimens. Presenters in each course will be available for live questions following each lecture or area of study. In addition, both video presentations will be available for an extended period to facilitate re-review of the material prior to the exam.
