The primary goal of The Fundamentals of Mohs Surgery course is improved patient care in the treatment of skin cancer using the Mohs technique. To this end, it provides a comprehensive overview of the surgical procedure and related histopathologic interpretation.
Because the roles of the Mohs surgeon and technician are critically intertwined in the successful performance of Mohs surgery, technician training is an important component of the Fundamentals course. Technician sessions incorporate both practical laboratory experience and didactic instruction.
